Mouse Toll-like receptor 6 (Tlr6) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse Toll-like receptor 6 (TLR6), an innate immune receptor that recognises pathogen-associated molecular patterns and has been implicated in infectious and autoimmune disease research.

The assay provides a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.16 ng/mL, with reported intra-assay precision of 5.7% (CV) and inter-assay precision of 8.7% (CV). It is specific to natural and recombinant mouse TLR6 (synonym: CD286; UniProt Q9EPW9) and is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants, and other biological fluids.

TLR6 participates in the innate immune response to Gram-positive bacteria and fungi, specifically recognising diacylated and, to a lesser extent, triacylated lipopeptides. It forms the activation cluster TLR2:TLR6:CD14:CD36, signalling through MYD88 and TRAF6 to drive NF-kappa-B activation and cytokine secretion. For research use only.
