Mouse Toll-like receptor 4 (Tlr4) ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative detection of mouse Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4), this Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie provides a high-specificity tool for measuring TLR4 levels in mouse serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay detects both natural and recombinant mouse TLR4, also referred to by the synonym CD284.

TLR4 is a key innate immune receptor that cooperates with LY96 and CD14 to mediate responses to bacterial lipopolysaccharide (LPS), acting via MYD88, TIRAP and TRAF6 to drive NF-kappa-B activation, cytokine secretion and the inflammatory response. Dysregulation of TLR4 has been linked to infectious diseases, autoimmune disorders and inflammatory conditions, making this kit relevant to immunology research. The assay offers a sensitivity of 0.158 ng/mL and a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 5.6% and inter-assay CV of 8.2%. Reported recovery is 102% for serum (range 96–108%) and 104% for plasma (range 98–110%).
