Mouse Toll-like receptor 2 (Tlr2) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse Toll-like receptor 2 (TLR2), also referred to by the synonym CD282. Intended for research use only, the kit reacts with mouse samples and accepts a broad range of matrices including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Specificity covers both natural and recombinant mouse TLR2.

According to the manufacturer, the assay provides a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.165ng/mL. Reported precision is an intra-assay CV of 5.7% and an inter-assay CV of 8.7%. Linearity has been characterised across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions of serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Recovery averaged 110% (range 104-116%) for serum and 112% (range 106-118%) for plasma.

TLR2 is described as a key protein of the innate immune system that cooperates with LY96 and with TLR1 or TLR6 to recognise bacterial lipoproteins and other microbial cell wall components, acting via MYD88 and TRAF6 to drive NF-kappa-B activation and cytokine secretion.
