The Assay Genie Mouse TNFSF4 PharmaGenie ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of murine OX40L (also called CD252, gp34, or TNFSF4) in biological samples using a pre-coated microplate two-antibody capture format. TNFSF4 is a type II transmembrane glycoprotein of the tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily that engages the OX40 receptor (TNFRSF4) on T lymphocytes, providing the co-stimulatory signal required for clonal expansion, Th1/Th2 polarization, and memory T cell formation. Researchers employ this kit to investigate T cell co-stimulation pathways, immune checkpoint biology, and the role of the OX40/OX40L axis in autoimmune models such as experimental allergic encephalomyelitis and collagen-induced arthritis, as well as in tumor immunology and transplant rejection studies.
