Mouse Tissue alpha-L-fucosidase (Fuca1) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of mouse Tissue alpha-L-fucosidase (FUCA1). The assay uses a colorimetric ELISA detection method and is validated for use with mouse serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. It detects natural and recombinant mouse Tissue alpha-L-fucosidase with a sensitivity of 0.165 ng/mL and a detection range of 0.312-20 ng/mL.

Alpha-L-fucosidase is a lysosomal enzyme responsible for hydrolyzing the alpha-1,6-linked fucose joined to the reducing-end N-acetylglucosamine of the carbohydrate moieties of glycoproteins. The kit targets the Fuca1 gene product (Uniprot Q99LJ1) and supports cell biology research into carbohydrate metabolism and related disorders. Defects in FUCA1 are associated with fucosidosis, an autosomal recessive lysosomal storage disease, making this enzyme a valuable biomarker for studying these conditions.
