Mouse Thyroid transcription factor 1/TITF1 ELISA Kit

This colorimetric sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie uses a double-antibody format for the quantitative detection of mouse Thyroid Transcription Factor 1 (TTF1) in mouse serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples. The manufacturer reports a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL, with kit components stored at 2–8°C and a shelf life of 12 months under those conditions.

TTF1 is a transcription factor that regulates thyroid-specific gene expression and contributes to thyroid gland development and function; its dysregulation has been linked to thyroid cancer, lung diseases, and other disorders, making it a useful biomarker for research into these conditions. The assay workflow uses a biotinylated detection antibody followed by HRP-streptavidin (SABC) binding, TMB substrate development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after stop solution is added.

Reported linearity values across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 are 86–104%, 85–101%, and 86–102% for serum (n=5); 83–100%, 89–98%, and 82–95% for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 82–98%, 82–90%, and 83–98% for heparin plasma (n=5). Recovery is 87–104% (average 93%) in serum, 95–103% (average 100%) in EDTA plasma, and 85–100% (average 92%) in heparin plasma.
