Mouse Thyroid Stimulating Hormone Receptor Antidoby/TSHRAb ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit (Double Antigen, colorimetric) is designed for the quantitative measurement of Thyroid Stimulating Hormone Receptor Antibody (TSHRAb; synonym TRAb) in mouse samples, making it suitable for research into thyroid function and autoimmune thyroid disorders such as Graves' disease. Accepted sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Reported performance figures include a sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL and an assay range of 1.563–100 ng/mL. Linearity (n=5) is reported for serum at 88–105% (1:2), 86–104% (1:4) and 91–103% (1:8); EDTA plasma at 86–99%, 82–99% and 89–101%; and heparin plasma at 81–98%, 88–98% and 81–96%. Spike-and-recovery averages (n=5) are 97% for serum, 91% for EDTA plasma and 92% for heparin plasma, with corresponding ranges of 85–103%, 85–102% and 86–100%.

The kit is intended for use with mouse models, is stored sealed at 2-8°C (do not cryopreserve), and provides a procedure based on biotin-labeled antigen binding followed by HRP-streptavidin detection with TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm.
