Mouse Thyroid peroxidase (Tpo) ELISA Kit

Available from Assay Genie, this colorimetric sandwich immunoassay enables the quantitative determination of thyroid peroxidase (TPO) in mouse-derived samples. TPO is a key enzyme that catalyses the iodination and coupling of hormonogenic tyrosines in thyroglobulin to yield the thyroid hormones T3 and T4. Abnormal TPO levels have been linked to thyroid disorders such as hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism, making the analyte a valuable biomarker for research into thyroid function and related diseases.

The assay accepts serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, with reported specificity for natural and recombinant mouse TPO. Performance figures include a sensitivity of 15.6 pg/mL and a detection range of 31.2–2000 pg/mL.

The target is a single-pass type I membrane protein annotated under UniProt P35419, known to interact with DUOX1, DUOX2 and CYBA. The product is supplied for research use only, with reagent storage temperatures varying by component between -20°C and 4°C as indicated in the kit documentation.
