Mouse Thyroglobulin (Tg) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of mouse Thyroglobulin (Tg) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Thyroglobulin is the precursor of the iodinated thyroid hormones thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3) and is widely used as a biomarker of thyroid function and thyroid cancer, making this assay a useful tool for thyroid-related research in mouse models.

The assay detects natural and recombinant mouse Thyroglobulin and reports a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.166 ng/mL. Reported precision is 5.8% intra-assay CV and 8.3% inter-assay CV. Linearity has been established across serial dilutions in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, with average recovery of 112% in serum (range 106–118%) and 114% in plasma (range 108–120%).

For research use only, the kit is well suited to studies of thyroid disorders and thyroid cancer in mouse models. The target protein is documented under UniProt accession O08710.
