Mouse Thromboxane-A synthase (Tbxas1) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie intended for the quantitative measurement of mouse thromboxane-A synthase (Tbxas1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay is reactive against mouse samples and shows specificity for natural and recombinant mouse thromboxane-A synthase.

Manufacturer specifications list a detection range of 0.078-5ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.033ng/mL. Linearity testing reports recovery ranges across 1:2 to 1:16 sample dilutions: serum (N=5) 82-118%, EDTA plasma (N=5) 87-126%, and heparin plasma (N=5) 91-117%. Intra-assay CV, inter-assay CV and recovery values are provided with the kit.

Thromboxane-A synthase is the enzyme responsible for the biosynthesis of thromboxane A2, a potent vasoconstrictor and platelet aggregator. Dysregulation of TBXAS1 has been associated with cardiovascular disorders, inflammation and cancer, supporting its value as a biomarker in these conditions.
