Mouse Thrombomodulin/BDCA-3 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is configured for the quantitative measurement of mouse Thrombomodulin (BDCA-3) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format with a colorimetric readout measured at 450 nm after TMB substrate development. Thrombomodulin is an endothelial cofactor that regulates blood coagulation and inflammation, and altered levels have been reported in sepsis, disseminated intravascular coagulation, and inflammatory disorders, supporting its use as a biomarker in cardiovascular and vascular-integrity research.

The assay reports a sensitivity of 37.5 pg/mL and a working range of 62.5–4000 pg/mL. Reported linearity (n=5) at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is 88–102%, 85–104%, and 86–102% for serum; 86–98%, 82–101%, and 81–100% for EDTA plasma; and 81–100%, 87–99%, and 100–105% for heparin plasma. Spike-and-recovery averages are 94% for serum (range 86–104%), 94% for EDTA plasma (range 92–100%), and 92% for heparin plasma (range 85–100%). Reagents are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
