Mouse Thrombin Activatable Fibrinolysis Inhibitor (TAFI) ELISA Kit

The Mouse TAFI ELISA Kit from Assay Genie quantifies thrombin-activatable fibrinolysis inhibitor (TAFI), a circulating plasma zymogen (~55 kDa) cleaved by the thrombin–thrombomodulin complex during coagulation. The capture antibody is specific to mouse CPB2 and shows no significant cross-reactivity with rat TAFI, making it appropriate for studies of fibrinolytic balance, clot stability, and inflammatory signalling in murine models.

Reagents are supplied in a microplate kit providing 96 individual assays; reconstituted standards and detection antibody should be stored refrigerated at 2 to 8 °C, while unused aliquots can be frozen at -20 °C for longer term. Mouse plasma collected on citrate or EDTA should be aliquoted and frozen promptly, since repeated freeze-thaw cycles reduce recoverable TAFI antigen. The assay is intended for in vitro research use only and supports investigations of carboxypeptidase-mediated down-regulation of fibrinolysis relevant to cardiovascular, thrombotic, and metabolic disease research.
