Mouse TGF- alpha (Transforming Growth Factor alpha) CLIA Kit (MOES00574)

Assay Genie offers a chemiluminescence-based immunoassay kit for the in vitro quantitative determination of Mouse Transforming Growth Factor alpha (TGF-α) in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The kit uses a Sandwich-CLIA format in which standards or samples are captured by a pre-coated antibody specific to Mouse TGF-α, detected with a biotinylated detection antibody and visualised using an Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate and chemiluminescent substrate. The resulting Relative Light Unit (RLU) value, measured on a chemiluminescence immunoassay analyser, is positively associated with the concentration of Mouse TGF-α and can be quantified against a standard curve.

The assay is completed in 3.5h and uses 100 μL of sample per well. Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 4.69 pg/mL and a detection range of 7.81-500 pg/mL. The kit recognises Mouse TGF-α in samples with no significant cross-reactivity or interference observed between Mouse TGF-α and analogues, and the manufacturer reports both intra-assay and inter-assay coefficients of variation below 15%.

Validation data cover serum, EDTA plasma and cell culture media, with documented recovery and linearity tested across multiple dilution factors, supporting reliable quantification in mouse-derived research samples.
