Mouse TFR2 (Transferrin Receptor Protein 2) ELISA Kit (MOES01578)

The Assay Genie mouse TFR2 immunoassay enables quantitative measurement of Transferrin Receptor Protein 2 in murine research samples. TFR2 is a type-II transmembrane glycoprotein expressed primarily on hepatocytes and erythroid precursor cells, where it partners with HFE protein to sense circulating iron and modulate hepcidin transcription. Researchers employ this kit to investigate hereditary hemochromatosis type 3, iron-loading anemias, erythropoiesis, and inflammation-driven changes in iron balance. The in vitro assay uses a microplate pre-coated with capture antibody, requires 100 µL of sample per well, and produces a chromogenic signal proportional to TFR2 concentration.
