Mouse TFF3/Trefoil Factor 3 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a sandwich ELISA, double-antibody kit for the quantitative measurement of Trefoil Factor 3 (TFF3) in mouse samples. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. It provides a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL across a standard range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL, with kit components intended for storage at 2–8°C for 12 months.

TFF3 is a key protein involved in mucosal protection and repair that supports the integrity of the gastrointestinal tract. Dysregulation of TFF3 has been linked to digestive diseases, inflammatory conditions, and cancer, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these conditions and for therapeutic development. The kit has been validated for linearity in serum (86–102% at 1:2, 89–100% at 1:4, 86–101% at 1:8), EDTA plasma (82–101%, 86–99%, 86–96%), and heparin plasma (80–90%, 81–96%, 86–100%). Recovery ranges are 85–98% for serum (average 90%), 93–105% for EDTA plasma (average 99%), and 87–104% for heparin plasma (average 97%).

The assay procedure involves equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, a 60-minute detection antibody incubation, a 30-minute HRP-streptavidin binding step, TMB substrate development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after adding stop solution.
