Mouse TERT/Telomerase Reverse Transcriptase ELISA Kit

Developed by Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of TERT in mouse samples, this colorimetric Sandwich ELISA uses a double-antibody format to deliver high sensitivity and specificity. The kit is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples, with a reported sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. TERT (Telomerase Reverse Transcriptase) is the catalytic subunit of telomerase, the enzyme responsible for maintaining telomere length and regulating cellular lifespan; abnormal TERT expression has been linked to cancer, aging, and genetic disorders, making it a useful biomarker for research into these conditions and potential treatments.

The kit is stored at 2–8°C for 12 months. Linearity has been demonstrated in serum (86–100% at 1:2, 85–96% at 1:4, 85–105% at 1:8), EDTA plasma (86–95%, 86–94%, 90–98%), and heparin plasma (87–100%, 81–98%, 84–99%) using n=5 samples per matrix. Recovery averages 96% in serum (range 89–105%), 99% in EDTA plasma (94–103%), and 96% in heparin plasma (89–105%). The workflow uses a biotin-labelled detection antibody, an HRP-streptavidin conjugate (SABC), and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm immediately after the stop reaction.
