Mouse Teratocarcinoma-derived growth factor (Tdgf1) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie supplies a sandwich ELISA kit for the quantitative detection of mouse Teratocarcinoma-derived growth factor (Tdgf1), also known as Cripto growth factor, Epidermal growth factor-like Cripto protein or Cripto. The assay is validated for mouse serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids, and is indicated for research use in the cancer research area.

The kit delivers a detection range of 31.2–2000 pg/mL with a sensitivity of 15.64 pg/mL. Reported precision is an intra-assay CV of 6.2% and an inter-assay CV of 8.4%. Linearity across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 (N=5) has been characterised in serum (102–114% at 1:2 and 100–109% at 1:16), EDTA plasma (83–91% at 1:2 and 107–116% at 1:16) and heparin plasma (107–117% at 1:2 and 111–119% at 1:16). Spike-and-recovery was 113% (range 107–119%) for serum and 115% (range 109–120%) for plasma. Specificity is directed against natural and recombinant mouse TDGF1.

TDGF1 is a GPI-anchored cell-membrane protein that interacts with the activin type-1 receptor ACVR1B and has been implicated in the determination of epiblastic cells that subsequently give rise to the mesoderm. The kit is associated with UniProt accession P51865 and is for research use only.
