Mouse Tenascin-R (Tnr) ELISA Kit

A colorimetric Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of mouse Tenascin-R (Tnr) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit detects natural and recombinant mouse Tenascin-R and is intended for research use only.

Tenascin-R is a neural extracellular matrix (ECM) protein involved in interactions with different cells and matrix components, influencing cellular behaviour through stable adhesion and differentiation, or through repulsion and inhibition of neurite growth. Dysregulation of tenascin-R has been associated with various neurological disorders, making it a valuable biomarker for studies of neural development, tissue repair, regeneration, and neurological disease in mouse models.

The assay covers a detection range of 1.56–100 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.792 ng/mL. Synonyms for the target include Janusin, Neural recognition molecule J1-160/180, Restrictin and TN-R, corresponding to UniProt entry Q8BYI9.
