Mouse TBP2/Thioredoxin Binding Protein 2 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of thioredoxin binding protein 2 (TBP2) in mouse samples. The double-antibody sandwich format uses a TMB substrate read at 450 nm, supporting colorimetric detection with high sensitivity and specificity.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay covers a standard range of 0.313–20 ng/mL with a stated sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL. Spike-and-recovery performance is reported across matrices, with average recoveries of 93% in serum (range 86–104%), 97% in EDTA plasma (range 85–105%) and 95% in heparin plasma (range 86–104%). Linearity is maintained across serial dilutions, e.g. serum 92–104% at 1:2 and 89–96% at 1:8. Reagents are intended for storage at 2–8°C for 12 months.

TBP2, also known as thioredoxin binding protein 2, contributes to cellular redox regulation and oxidative stress response, and is involved in cell growth, differentiation and apoptosis. Dysregulated TBP2 expression has been linked to cancer, diabetes and neurodegenerative disorders, positioning the kit within the epigenetics and nuclear signalling research area as a tool for biomarker and therapeutic-target studies.
