Mouse Tar DNA Binding Protein 43KDa/TDP43 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie enables the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse TDP43 (TAR DNA-binding protein 43) concentrations in serum, plasma, and other biological fluids. The kit has a stated sensitivity of 0.188 ng/ml and a detection range of 0.313-20 ng/ml, and is intended for research use only.

TDP43 is a DNA- and RNA-binding protein that regulates transcription and splicing, and has been linked to neurodegenerative conditions including amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and frontotemporal dementia (FTD). Spike-and-recovery testing gave ranges of 88-102% in serum (average 96%), 87-104% in EDTA plasma (average 95%), and 86-104% in UFH plasma (average 94%), with intra-assay CV reported as <8% and inter-assay CV as <10%. Supplied reagents include a dismountable microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled antibody, HRP-streptavidin conjugate, TMB substrate, stop solution, wash buffer, and plate sealer, with storage at 4°C for six months.
