Mouse Talin ELISA Kit

A high-quality sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the precise quantification of talin in mouse samples. The double-antibody assay is suitable for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with colorimetric detection using a TMB substrate read at 450 nm. Sensitivity is 0.938 ng/mL and the working range is 1.563–100 ng/mL. The kit targets the TLN1 gene product (talin-1; synonyms TLN, TLN1, ILWEQ, talin-1; UniProt P26039), a cytoskeletal protein involved in cell adhesion and migration whose dysregulation is linked to cancer, cardiovascular disorders and autoimmune conditions.

The pre-coated plate workflow involves equilibrating reagents and loading standards, samples and a zero control, followed by antigen binding at 37 °C for 90 minutes. A biotin-labelled detection antibody is added for 60 minutes at 37 °C, then HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) for 30 minutes at 37 °C. TMB substrate is developed in the dark for 10–20 minutes before stop solution is added and absorbance read at 450 nm. Reported recovery ranges across serum (86–105%, average 92%), EDTA plasma (88–105%, average 97%) and heparin plasma (87–105%, average 94%) demonstrate the kit's performance in standard matrices, with linearity at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions of 82–99%/83–97%/80–93% (serum), 86–105%/91–104%/82–100% (EDTA plasma) and 86–102%/89–104%/90–104% (heparin plasma). The kit is stored at 2–8 °C, with a stated shelf life of 12 months under appropriate conditions.
