Quantitative measurement of mouse Tachykinin Receptor 2 (TACR2) in laboratory specimens is supported by this ELISA kit from Assay Genie, supplied as a complete reagent set sufficient for 96 reactions in a microplate layout. TACR2, also called the NK2 receptor, is a G protein-coupled receptor that binds neurokinin A and contributes to smooth muscle contraction, bronchial responsiveness, intestinal peristalsis, and neurogenic inflammation. Investigators modeling asthma, colitis, urogenital tract disorders, or nociceptive signaling pathways use this kit to assess TACR2 levels across mouse cohorts. Reconstituted standards, antibodies, and detection reagents should be stored refrigerated, with the unused microwell plate kept sealed and protected from light to maintain binding activity throughout the workflow. Absorbance readings from a standard plate reader are used to generate a standard curve and interpolate sample concentrations. The assay is intended for in vitro research use only and accepts small-volume mouse liquid specimens for TACR2 quantitation.
