Mouse T3 ELISA Kit

An Assay Genie product developed for the precise measurement of T3 (triiodothyronine) levels in mouse-derived samples, this Competitive ELISA Kit uses an antigen-coated plate format. It is reactive with mouse samples and accepts a broad range of input types, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Sensitivity is rated at 0.469 pg/mL, with a working range of 0.781–50 pg/mL. Across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma, the kit delivers consistent recovery, with average values of 92% across all three matrices (ranges of 86–101%, 85–102%, and 86–100% respectively, n = 10). Linearity is preserved at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions: serum spans 86–104%, 83–98%, and 81–99%; EDTA plasma spans 85–103%, 84–100%, and 82–98%; and heparin plasma spans 86–100%, 84–99%, and 81–93% (n = 10 each).

The protocol uses a biotin-labeled antibody with HRP-Streptavidin detection and a TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm. Unopened kits should be stored sealed at 2–8°C and not frozen. T3, also referred to as fT3 or free triiodothyronine, is a key thyroid hormone that regulates metabolism, growth, and development, and the kit is positioned for research into thyroid function and related metabolic conditions.
