Mouse T-cell surface glycoprotein CD4 (Cd4) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of the mouse T-cell surface glycoprotein CD4 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The target is a membrane single-pass type I protein, also known as T-cell differentiation antigen L3T4, T-cell surface antigen T4/Leu-3 and CD4, which functions as an accessory protein for MHC class-II antigen/T-cell receptor interaction and may regulate T-cell activation. The kit is for research use only and supports immunology studies such as those investigating immune responses, infectious disease and autoimmune disorders.

According to the manufacturer datasheet, the assay covers a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.071 ng/mL, and shows specificity for natural and recombinant mouse CD4. Linearity was evaluated in N=5 for serum (104–116%, 96–106%, 84–96% and 105–114% at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions), EDTA plasma (99–109%, 85–94%, 95–104% and 94–105%) and heparin plasma (100–110%, 105–114%, 101–109% and 94–104%). Intra-assay CV, inter-assay CV and recovery data are provided with the kit.

Supplied components include a dismountable ELISA microplate (8×12 strips), lyophilised standard, sample diluent, assay diluents A and B, detection reagents A and B, wash buffer, substrate solution, stop solution and plate sealers, with storage temperatures ranging from -20°C to 4°C depending on the component.
