Mouse Syndecan-2/Sdc2 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative detection of mouse Syndecan-2 (SDC2) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection, and absorbance is read at 450 nm after TMB substrate development.

Syndecan-2 is a cell-surface heparan sulfate proteoglycan involved in cell adhesion, migration, and signalling, and participates in wound healing, inflammation, and angiogenesis. Dysregulation of Syndecan-2 has been implicated in cancer, cardiovascular disorders, and inflammatory conditions, making it a useful target in developmental biology research. The assay reports a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL across a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL, with reagents stored at 2–8°C for 12 months. Reported validation data include linearity at a 1:2 dilution of 89–96% for serum (n=5), 87–101% for EDTA plasma (n=5), and 81–98% for heparin plasma (n=5), with corresponding recovery averages of 94%, 91%, and 96%.
