Mouse Sushi domain-containing protein 2 (Susd2) ELISA Kit

The kit delivers a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is reported as 7.1% and inter-assay CV as 9.3%. Acceptable sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. Specificity is established for natural and recombinant mouse SUSD2. Recovery in serum averages 99% (range 93–105%) and in plasma averages 101% (range 95–107%). Linearity across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 has been characterised for serum (84–115%), EDTA plasma (88–113%), and heparin plasma (81–99%).

SUSD2 is described in the source material as a single-pass type I cell membrane protein that may act as a cytokine receptor for C10ORF99 and may function as a tumour suppressor, with a growth inhibitory effect on colon cancer cells involving G1 cell cycle arrest, and potential roles in breast tumorigenesis.
