Mouse Superoxide Dismutase 3, Extracellular (SOD3) ELISA Kit

A colorimetric immunoassay from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of mouse extracellular superoxide dismutase 3 (SOD3) in laboratory samples. SOD3, also known as EC-SOD, is the secreted and tissue-bound isoform of the superoxide dismutase family; it associates with heparan sulfate proteoglycans on cell surfaces and is frequently investigated in cardiovascular, pulmonary, and oxidative-stress research models.

For in vitro research use only, the kit is supplied as a complete microplate package containing pre-coated wells, calibrators, detection antibodies, substrate, and wash buffer sufficient for 96 determinations. The protocol accepts multiple mouse-derived research matrices including clarified tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and conditioned cell culture supernatants, with additional specimen types supported per the kit insert.

Detection proceeds through a substrate-mediated color reaction read on a standard microplate absorbance reader, with results interpreted against a standard curve generated from the included recombinant mouse SOD3 calibrators. Unopened kit components should be stored refrigerated; allow all reagents to equilibrate to room temperature before beginning the assay to ensure consistent kinetics across the plate.
