Mouse Sugar transporter SWEET1 (Slc50a1) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the accurate and sensitive detection of mouse Sugar transporter SWEET1 (Slc50a1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. Also known by the synonyms RAG1-activating protein 1, Solute carrier family 50 member 1, MmSWEET1, Rag1ap1, or Rga, the kit recognises both natural and recombinant mouse SWEET1.

The assay has a detection range of 78-5000pg/ml and a sensitivity of 39.4pg/mL. Intra-assay precision is 6.2% CV and inter-assay precision is 8.5% CV. Recovery averages 96% (range 90-102%) for serum and 98% (range 92-104%) for plasma. Linearity testing across dilution factors of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 gave ranges of 91-119% for serum, 81-101% for EDTA plasma, and 89-117% for heparin plasma.

SWEET1 is a multi-pass membrane protein located in the Golgi apparatus membrane and cell membrane, and may also localise to the endoplasmic reticulum. It mediates sugar transport across membranes and may regulate the expression of RAG1, a gene involved in V(D)J recombination. The protein interacts with TRPV2 through an interaction that occurs intracellularly and depends on TRPV2 N-glycosylation. UniProt accession: Q9CXK4. For research use only.
