Description

Designed for the quantitative detection of mouse Substance-P receptor (Tacr1), this Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables accurate measurement of TACR1 levels in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit is intended for research use only.

TACR1, also known as the Substance P receptor, NK-1 receptor, Tachykinin receptor 1, NK-1R, SPR, or Tac1r, is a G-protein coupled receptor for the tachykinin neuropeptide substance P. It is probably associated with G proteins that activate a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system, with a rank order of affinity to tachykinins of substance P > substance K > neuromedin K. The receptor is localised to the cell membrane as a multi-pass membrane protein and interacts with ARRB1 (UniProt: P30548).

The assay has a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.08ng/mL. Specificity covers natural and recombinant mouse Substance-P receptor.
