Mouse STUB1 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative detection of STIP1 Homology and U-Box Containing Protein 1 (STUB1) in mouse samples. The kit uses a double-antibody sandwich format and is suitable for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. STUB1 is a critical protein involved in protein quality control and degradation, helping maintain cellular homeostasis, and its dysregulation has been implicated in neurodegenerative disorders, cancer, and immune system disorders.

Linearity was tested at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions: serum (n=5) gave 89-104%, 86-104%, and 88-102%; EDTA plasma (n=5) gave 85-104%, 94-103%, and 82-97%; and heparin plasma (n=5) gave 83-95%, 80-100%, and 84-99%. Spike-and-recovery averages were 97% for serum (range 89-104%), 92% for EDTA plasma (range 86-96%), and 91% for heparin plasma (range 85-101%). Kit components should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. The protocol involves equilibrating reagents and the TMB substrate to room temperature, loading standards, samples, and controls onto the pre-coated plate, then incubating at 37°C for 90 minutes. Biotin-labeled detection antibody is added for a 60-minute incubation at 37°C, followed by HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) for 30 minutes at 37°C. TMB substrate is added and incubated in the dark for 10-20 minutes, then stop solution is added and absorbance is read at 450 nm.
