Mouse Stromelysin-1 (Mmp3) ELISA Kit

The assay covers a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL with a sensitivity of 41pg/mL. Reported precision includes an Intra CV of 4.8% and an Inter CV of 7.7%. Linearity in serum spans 88-106% across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 (N=5); EDTA plasma spans 88-121%; and heparin plasma spans 92-116%. Recovery is documented at 95% (range 89-101%) for serum and 97% (range 91-103%) for plasma. The kit is specific for natural and recombinant mouse Stromelysin-1, with mouse reactivity.

Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. Functionally, MMP3 can degrade fibronectin, laminin, gelatins of type I, III, IV, and V, collagens III, IV, X, and IX, and cartilage proteoglycans, and activates procollagenase.
