This quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie measures mouse serine/threonine protein kinase 39, a Ste20-family kinase commonly abbreviated as SPAK. STK39 sits downstream of WNK-family kinases and phosphorylates the cation-chloride cotransporters NKCC1, NKCC2, and several KCC isoforms, linking cell-volume regulation to renal ion handling and systemic blood pressure control.

The kit supports studies of cardiovascular, renal, and neuronal ion homeostasis in murine model systems, where STK39 expression or activity is profiled across tissues, treatment cohorts, or genetically modified backgrounds.
