Mouse Sterol regulatory element-binding protein 2 (Srebf2) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie intended for the quantitative measurement of mouse Sterol regulatory element-binding protein 2 (SREBF2), also known by the synonyms SREBP-2 and Srebp2. The assay is reactive with mouse samples and has been validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids, with specificity for natural and recombinant mouse SREBF2.

According to the manufacturer, the colourimetric assay has a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.166ng/mL. Intra-assay CV, inter-assay CV, linearity, and recovery values are provided with the kit. SREBF2 is a transcription factor required for lipid homeostasis that regulates transcription of the LDL receptor gene and the cholesterol synthesis pathway, making it a relevant target within cardiovascular research.
