Mouse STAT1 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a sandwich ELISA, double-antibody immunoassay for the quantitative detection of Signal Transducer and Activator of Transcription 1 (STAT1) in mouse samples. The kit uses a colorimetric detection method and is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with reactivity confirmed for mouse. Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and an assay range of 0.313–20 ng/mL.

Validated linearity for serum at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 is reported as 88–104%, 85–103% and 85–104% respectively (n=5), with EDTA plasma at 83–101%, 87–95% and 89–100% and heparin plasma at 81–90%, 82–98% and 81–98%. Spike-recovery across the same matrices is reported as 87–105% (serum, average 98%), 93–102% (EDTA plasma, average 99%) and 88–101% (heparin plasma, average 96%).

STAT1 is described as a key regulator of immune responses involved in inflammation, antiviral responses and immune surveillance, with dysregulation linked to autoimmune diseases, infectious diseases and cancer, making the assay relevant to biomarker and therapeutic-target research within the Epigenetics and Nuclear Signaling research area. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months and the assay targets the STAT1 protein associated with UniProt entry P42225.
