Mouse Sphingosine 1-phosphate receptor 5 (S1pr5) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative detection of mouse sphingosine 1-phosphate receptor 5 (S1PR5) in mouse serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. The assay has a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL, with specificity for natural and recombinant mouse S1PR5.

S1PR5 is a multi-pass membrane protein localised to the cell membrane, functioning as a receptor for the lysosphingolipid sphingosine 1-phosphate (S1P). It couples to the G(i/0)alpha and G(12) subclasses of heterotrimeric G-proteins, and on oligodendroglial cells it modulates either process retraction or cell survival depending on developmental stage.
