Quantitative measurement of sorting nexin-1 (Snx1) in murine experimental samples is supported by this complete immunoassay kit from Assay Genie, configured as a 96-assay microplate with an absorbance-based readout. Snx1 is a peripheral membrane protein defined by a phox homology (PX) domain that binds phosphatidylinositol-3-phosphate on early endosomal membranes, where it cooperates with the retromer complex to retrieve transmembrane cargo and regulate receptor recycling. The kit enables quantification of endogenous Snx1 in mouse serum or plasma specimens prepared from collected blood, supporting investigations of endosomal trafficking, retromer-mediated cargo sorting, and receptor retrieval pathways relevant to neurodegenerative and metabolic disease models. Each microplate shipment includes pre-coated wells, lyophilized recombinant standards, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash buffer, and substrate reagents sufficient for full plate runs with replicate standard curves, and the resulting data can be cross-checked by western blot or immunohistochemistry analyses on the same experimental cohort.
