SLC40A1 is a critical iron homeostasis transporter that regulates cellular iron uptake and release, with dysregulation implicated in iron-related disorders such as anemia, hemochromatosis, and neurodegenerative diseases. The kit is intended for research use only.

Performance specifications include a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.18 ng/mL, with intra-assay precision of 6.9% CV and inter-assay precision of 9.3% CV.
