Mouse Sodium/glucose cotransporter 1 (Slc5a1) ELISA Kit

The manufacturer reports a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.087 ng/mL. Slc5a1 is also known by the synonyms High affinity sodium-glucose cotransporter, Solute carrier family 5 member 1 and Na(+)/glucose cotransporter 1. It is a multi-pass membrane protein (UniProt Q8C3K6) that actively transports glucose into cells via Na(+) cotransport.

SLC5A1 is a key transporter involved in glucose and sodium absorption, expressed mainly in intestine and kidney. Dysregulation of SLC5A1 has been associated with metabolic disorders such as diabetes and obesity, and the kit is supplied for research use only.
