Mouse SOD3 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of Superoxide Dismutase 3 (SOD3), the extracellular form of the enzyme, in mouse samples. It uses a sandwich ELISA, double antibody format with colorimetric detection and accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. SOD3 is an important antioxidant enzyme that protects cells from oxidative stress, and its dysregulation has been linked in research to neurodegenerative, cardiovascular, and inflammatory conditions.

Reported linearity values are 91-104% (1:2), 90-105% (1:4) and 86-101% (1:8) for serum; 92-100%, 90-100% and 85-91% for EDTA plasma; and 88-100%, 82-96% and 85-105% for heparin plasma (n = 5 each). Mean recovery values are 95% for serum, 96% for EDTA plasma and 93% for heparin plasma.

The workflow includes reagent and plate preparation, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, TMB substrate colour development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and a stop reaction read at 450 nm.
