Mouse Slit homolog 2 protein (Slit2) ELISA Kit

The assay has a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.08ng/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 6.2% and an inter-assay CV of 8.8%.

Recommended sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids, with specificity for natural and recombinant mouse Slit homolog 2 protein. Recovery ranges from 80-92% in serum (average 86%) and 82-94% in plasma (average 88%), and linearity has been characterised for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16.

SLIT2 is thought to act as a molecular guidance cue in cellular migration, functioning through interaction with roundabout homolog receptors and playing a role in axonal navigation at the ventral midline of the neural tube.
