Mouse Slc6a2 ELISA Kit

A colorimetric sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of mouse SLC6A2 (also known as the norepinephrine transporter, NET, or solute carrier family 6 member 2), a neuroscience target implicated in the reuptake of norepinephrine and studied in the context of mood, attention, and stress response.

The kit is validated for mouse reactivity and accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

The workflow uses a biotin-labeled detection antibody with HRP-streptavidin and a TMB substrate, read at 450 nm after stop solution. Incubations run at 37°C for antigen binding (90 min), detection antibody (60 min), and HRP-streptavidin (30 min), followed by color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes. Sample preparation covers serum (clot, 1000 × g, 20 min), plasma (anticoagulant tube, 1000 × g, 15 min at 2–8°C), tissue homogenate, cell culture supernatant (2500 rpm, 5 min), and cell lysate.
