Mouse SLC30A3/Zinc transporter 3 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit uses a double-antibody, colorimetric detection workflow to quantitatively measure mouse SLC30A3 (zinc transporter 3, also known as ZnT-3) in research samples. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with reactivity limited to mouse.

Reported performance includes a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and an assay range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL. Linearity evaluated at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions (n = 5) is 89–105% / 86–98% / 82–90% for serum, 87–104% / 84–101% / 80–99% for EDTA plasma, and 87–98% / 87–94% / 80–96% for heparin plasma. Mean recovery values are 93% for serum, 96% for EDTA plasma, and 98% for heparin plasma. The kit is intended for storage at 2–8 °C, with the lyophilized standard also listed as stable at –20 °C for 12 months.

The workflow uses a 37 °C primary incubation of 90 minutes, a 60-minute biotin-labelled detection antibody step, 30 minutes of HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding, TMB colour development for 10–20 minutes in the dark, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after addition of stop solution. According to the manufacturer's overview, zinc transporter 3 plays a central role in cellular zinc homeostasis, and its dysregulation has been linked to neurological disorders, diabetes, and immune dysfunction.
