SLAM (Signaling Lymphocytic Activation Molecule), also designated CD150 or SLAMF1, is a cell-surface glycoprotein expressed on activated T and B lymphocytes, dendritic cells, macrophages, and hematopoietic stem cells. It functions as a self-ligating receptor that modulates immune synapse formation, cytokine production, and lymphocyte activation, and serves as the entry receptor for measles virus. The Mouse SLAM/CD150 PharmaGenie ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is built on a quantitative immunoassay workflow for measuring native mouse SLAM in experimental samples, allowing investigators to track receptor shedding and circulating SLAM levels in immunological studies, vaccine research, and hematopoietic stem cell investigations. The kit is configured for 96 assays and is intended for research use only / in vitro laboratory applications. Each kit ships with pre-coated plates, detection antibody, recombinant standard, and reagents needed to generate a standard curve, and is suitable for use with cell culture supernatants collected from mouse experimental models. Researchers studying lymphocyte signaling, autoimmune disease models, or transplant tolerance frequently use SLAM measurements to characterize immune activation status across different treatment groups.
