The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection, a measurable range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL, and a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL. Reagents are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Validated linearity values across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions are 86-105%, 88-104%, and 91-100% for serum (n = 5); 87-95%, 84-100%, and 82-96% for EDTA plasma (n = 5); and 85-94%, 80-93%, and 80-95% for heparin plasma (n = 5). Recovery ranges are 88-104% (average 97%) for serum, 87-105% (average 94%) for EDTA plasma, and 87-101% (average 93%) for heparin plasma.
