Mouse Signal transducer and activator of transcription 4 (Stat4) ELISA Kit

A colorimetric sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of mouse Signal transducer and activator of transcription 4 (STAT4). The kit is specific to natural and recombinant mouse STAT4 and has been validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. Detection is carried out by reading absorbance at 450 nm.

According to the manufacturer's specifications, the assay has a detection range of 7.8–500 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 4.12 pg/mL. The kit is intended for research use only.

STAT4 is described as a key player in the JAK-STAT signaling pathway, regulating gene expression and immune responses. Dysregulation of STAT4 has been linked to autoimmune diseases, inflammation, and cancer, making it a useful biomarker for studying these conditions and developing targeted therapies. The target protein is located in the cytoplasm and is translocated into the nucleus in response to phosphorylation.
