Mouse ShhN PharmaGenie ELISA Kit (SBRS1525)

The Mouse ShhN PharmaGenie ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is built around the N-terminal signaling fragment of mouse Sonic Hedgehog, a cholesterol-modified morphogen that governs cell fate decisions through the Hedgehog signaling pathway, including neural tube dorsoventral patterning, limb bud outgrowth, and somite segmentation. Researchers studying developmental biology, basal cell carcinoma, medulloblastoma, or stem cell differentiation use the assay to quantify ShhN release into cell culture supernatants, cell lysates, and tissue lysates harvested from murine models, with additional validation for serum and plasma matrices. The capture antibody is specific for mouse ShhN, with no significant cross-reactivity observed with mouse Desert Hedgehog (Dhh) or Indian Hedgehog (Ihh) paralogs in internal validation. The kit includes a precoated microplate, lyophilized standards, detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, and substrate solution; 100 µL of sample is loaded per well in duplicate. Unopened components should be stored refrigerated and protected from light, while reconstituted reagents should be aliquoted to limit freeze-thaw cycles.
