Mouse SFTPC/Surfactant Protein C ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a quantitative sandwich ELISA for the measurement of Surfactant Protein C (SFTPC) in mouse samples, using a double-antibody format and colorimetric readout suited to pulmonary research applications.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay reports a sensitivity of 0.234 ng/mL with a working range of 0.391–25 ng/mL, and the kit is stored at 2–8°C for 12 months. Recovery across matrices is 93–105% in serum, 86–103% in EDTA plasma, and 88–101% in heparin plasma, with linearity spanning 81–104% across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions.

The protocol includes a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, 60-minute biotin-labelled detection antibody binding, 30-minute HRP-streptavidin incubation, and TMB color development for 10–20 minutes, with absorbance measured at 450 nm. The associated Uniprot reference is P21841.
