Mouse Sestrin-3 (Sesn3) ELISA Kit

Designed as a Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie, this kit enables quantitative measurement of mouse Sestrin-3 (SESN3, also known as Sest3) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, cell or tissue lysates, and other biological fluids. SESN3 is a cytoplasmic protein implicated in cellular stress responses, with regulatory roles in metabolism, antioxidant defense, and autophagy. Its dysregulation has been linked to metabolic disorders, cancer, aging, and neurodegenerative conditions, making it a useful biomarker across disease-focused research.

The assay uses colorimetric detection, with a reported sensitivity of 0.085 ng/mL and a working range of 0.156-10 ng/mL. Specificity is confirmed for natural and recombinant mouse Sestrin-3, and the kit is intended for research use only. Supplied components include a dismountable microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled detection antibody, HRP-streptavidin conjugate (SABC), TMB substrate, sample and assay diluents, wash buffer, stop solution, and plate sealer. Standard practice is to equilibrate reagents to room temperature before use, develop color in the dark with TMB substrate, and read absorbance at 450 nm.
