Description
From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit enables the precise measurement of Sestrin-2 (Sesn2) levels in mouse serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay is specific for natural and recombinant mouse Sestrin-2 (UniProt: P58043).
The colorimetric assay provides a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.184ng/mL. Sestrin-2 is a stress-inducible metabolic regulator that functions as an intracellular leucine sensor, negatively regulating the TORC1 signaling pathway through the GATOR complex, and contributes to protection against oxidative and genotoxic stresses. The protein is localized to the cytoplasm. The kit is intended for research use only.
