Mouse Serum paraoxonase/arylesterase 2 (Pon2) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Mouse Serum paraoxonase/arylesterase 2 (Pon2) ELISA Kit is a sandwich-format colorimetric immunoassay designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse PON2 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit detects natural and recombinant mouse serum paraoxonase/arylesterase 2 and is intended for research use only, including studies in neurosciences.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.081 ng/mL. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 6.6% and an inter-assay CV of 8.5%. Linearity has been validated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilution ratios of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, with serum recovery averaging 103% (range 97–109%) and plasma recovery averaging 105% (range 99–111%). The target protein is a homotrimer of approximately 39,617 Da (UniProt Q62086) that functions as a lactone and aromatic carboxylic acid ester hydrolase and localises as a peripheral membrane protein.
